IKEA arreda la metropolitana di Parigi

Ed è Guerrilla Marketing again!

[ London Underground via PSFK ]

"Ikea has furnished Paris’ St. Lazare, Champs-Elysées-Clémenceau, Concorde, and Opéra subway stations with sofas and lamps for two weeks. Metro commuters will be waiting for their train on couches from Ikea’s new Ektorp and Karlstad collections. The key idea behind the stunt is to demonstrate the quality and durability of IKEA products via the ‘bum test’ of thousands of Parisians; particularly since IKEA is oftentimes embraced for its contemporary yet affordable (and disposable) furniture "

  3. That's strange, I go through Concorde and Champs-Elysées Clemenceau everyday and didn't see any of those :)) Either they are not on line 1 (very likely), or I'm in serious need of a medical consult ^^
That being said, good idea! At least because it makes the routine of daily commute a bit less boring (and tiring!) :D

Nice video, btw. If all stations were like that, it could actually be a pleasure to go in them :)

  4. Maybe somebody disassembled everything and furnished his own place for free? :-k

Yes the one of the video is amazing... would be great to have places like that for real!
(and be able to find them again the day after ^^)

AHAHA!! Anche secondo me.
